Hello, my name is Jackson Allen and I am the Head Coach for the Waves swim team this summer! Here is a little bit about me:
I grew up in Fort Collins and went through PSD. Bennett for Elementary School, Webber for Middle School, and Rocky for High School. Throughout my schooling I was a competitive swimmer. I swam for the Westfield Waves summer club, Vortex year round, and then for Rocky. My love for swimming led me to go to school out of state and compete at the collegiate level! While I was away at school, I always wanted to be able to come back to Fort Collins and teach! During the school year, I am a 6th grade Science teacher at Lincoln Middle school and the head age group coach for Club Vortex.
I am so excited to be back coaching the Waves and am ready to not only continue your child's love of swimming, but help them also continue on becoming kind, caring, smart athletes!
Educational Background:
I graduated from Rocky Mountain High School in 2015
I graduated from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowas in 2019 majoring in middle school and elementary education with a minor in coaching.
So excited for the coming season!
